I agree.  It&#039;s never a great idea for institutions to take on individuals in these types of situations; I&#039;m not exactly sure what they thought they&#039;d achieve.  Does Butler University hope to extract money from a single person?  I seriously can&#039;t figure out what they hoped to do with the lawsuit other than to bring attention to themselves; if that&#039;s what they were trying to do, mission accomplished!</description>

		<description>The great thing about a defamation lawsuit is it brings a lot of media attention to your cause.  Butler&#039;s logic for the lawsuit was that the blog damaged the school&#039;s rep?  The lawsuit did much more damage to the school&#039;s image than the blog ever could have.

I have seen a few of Jess&#039;s posts and they look pretty harmless.  Does anyone know what got Butler so riled up?  Come on, what was this kid saying that made folks feel so threatened?  I haven&#039;t read any comments from him that indicated he was threatening anyone&#039;s life.  So what gives?</description>
